Decription
A brush to interactively paint hair splines on on an objects surface,
what you then do with teh hari splines is up to you (eg put in loft
nurbs, or sweepnurbs to render, or use Pauls Solid Spline Pro plugin,
or use DiTools spline rendering post effect or whatever)
It's controls are
Spacing (the distance the brush will travel before it paints another
hair.
Gravity - The ammount of gravity acting on the hair, the stronger
this is, the faster they will point downwards (local space).
Kinkyness - The ammount of wave/kink in the hair
Kink Scale - At 100% this makes it virtually no wave, 0% is crazy
kinks, 80% is curly wavey.
Knots - This controls the detail of the hair, a higher level means
more points per spline, and so more detail.
Length - Obviously controls the length, if it's not enough the brushes
Multiplier value will up this or lower this.
The overall spread of the hairs is controlled by teh falloff distance,
so if you want to just paint splines is a row, then set the falloff
distance to 0, and make sure that you ahve soft selection falloff
set to "No Falloff". If you want a wider spread of randomly
placed hairs, then make the Soft Selection distance wider.
