About Mesh Surgery

Mesh Surgery is a complete set of modeling tools including several innovations firstly Superflange, the ability to shift cut points in a number of ways not seen working anywhere before Mesh Surgery appeared.

Then there's projection split using scalpel. Many programs today have a split poly tool, however only Mesh Surgery allows you to split multiple polys at once in a single cut.

Extended cuts, we thought you should be able to continue a split cut automatically if you needed to, taking some more of the strain out of cutting your model up.

We've also brought to Cinema for the first time such things as Soft Selections (not only were we the first to bring this to Cinema, but we also made sure you get full control over a wide range of shapes, styles, spline control over falloff, locking of the soft selection, and even numerical control over the falloff placement and parameters should you need, Fully interactive real time point, poly and edge loops (another first anywhere), fully interactive and real time loop and selection cutting tools.

Partial loops for cuts and selections again controllable in real time.

A fully scriptable Mesh Brush tool that allows you to manipulate a models vertices or many other things in a fluid, fast and easy manner, it's like sculpting clay!

A range of hinge tools that allow you to manipulate your mesh from any edge (or indeed any point), something much requested, and of course hinge extrude.

Brand new Axis translation tools for Cinema, giving you more control than ever before, including local mode where you can control poly/edge and point normal translation in all three axis, and the ability to snap your axis at a click to any element on your object. Proper Loop rotation Axis Gizmo, Decent relative Axis Scale Gizmo, sticky axis handles option.

Complete control without ever having to go near a dialog if you so wish, though if you do then you can control for all parameters through a clean and simple interface.

Mesh Surgery is so packed with tools and features that we can't possibly go through them all here, however please take the time to look at the videos that show some of Mesh Surgery in action.
